Curia was flying back to Justice League headquarters when she got an emergency call.  She slowed down and hovered in place as she answered.

“Wonder Woman here.”

“Curia, it’s Superman.  How far are you from Metropolis?”

“Just a couple of minutes…why?”

“Just got a call about a situation at the Metropolis Mall.  Can you check it out since you’re the closest?”

“Not a problem.  And Clark?”

“Yes, Curia?”

“Happy Easter!” And with that, Curia dove down through the clouds towards the city and its megamall.  As she descended, she noted that the parking lot was full; there were thousands of shoppers inside, and she knew that whatever the situation might be it needed to be defused quickly.

She glided gracefully towards the front entrance, landing gently on the sidewalk, and rushed inside.  She was instantly stunned by how quiet it was.  Other than the soothing instrumental music playing through the speakers, there wasn’t a sound, nor was there any sign of shoppers!

“This is really bizarre,” Curia muttered to herself as she started walking around, peering into the shops.  Not only was there no sign of shoppers, but she didn’t see a single employee either!  The one thing she DID notice was a lot of Easter decorations – in particular, a great number of large eggs, all lavishly decorated in a variety of colorful and unique patterns.

“Hello? Is anyone here?” she called out.  She almost knocked over one of the eggs as she strode deeper into the mall; when she bent down to look at it more closely, she saw it was colored in blue with little shiny badges on it, like a police officer or a security guard.  ‘A security guard’, she thought, ‘these malls are usually full of them!’

The farther into the mall she walked, the more worried and creeped-out Curia became.  It was like a ghost town or something.  Scattered around the mall were shopping bags and carts with items inside, but no people to go with them; it was like the people had suddenly disappeared!  And there were more and more eggs, in every store, on every aisle, on every corner.

Curia arrived at the center of the large mall, which had a giant display for Easter; in addition to more eggs, there were large bunny rabbits and other Easter decorations.  But what immediately caught her eye was the giant egg in the center.  The giant egg with a face, a face that was smiling, and eyes that were moving!

“Wonder Woman!” the giant egg roared, and the superheroine jumped back in shock.  “Welcome to my mall!”  Its accent was thick and Asian-sounding.

“YOUR mall?” Curia shouted back.  “Who are you? Where is everyone, where did they go?”

“You may call me Egg Fu.  I had a few encounters with your…predecessor, Diana, years ago.  As for where did everyone go, well, nowhere, they’re all still here.”

“Egg Fu!”  Curia exclaimed.  “I’ve heard of you! You’re some kind of evil genius!”

The giant egg laughed.  “Genius, yes, Wonder Woman.  That I am.”

“Tell me, Egg Fu, what is your evil plan? What have you done to all the shoppers, all the people?”

“I’m not gonna tell you my evil plan!”

“Have it your way, Egg!” And with a flick of her wrist Curia sent her lasso towards the giant egg, encircling him around his waist.  As the lasso tightened, the truth began to flow through the lasso and into her mind.  Her eyes widened in absolute shock.

“You…you turned them all into…eggs…” she mouthed in utter disbelief.  “How…”

Egg Fu just smiled as he reached out with his right hand that protruded from his egg-shaped body, grabbing the lasso and giving it a mighty yank.  Curia began to spin towards him, her boots sliding on the shiny waxed floor, getting wrapped up in her own lasso as he pulled her in.

“You want to know how, Wonder Woman.  I’ll show you.”  He opened his left hand to reveal a glowing egg; a click and the top of the egg opened, bathing the stunned superheroine in yellow light.

“Great…Hera…I feel so…strange…what’s happening,” Curia gasped.  “My body feels so hot,” she added as she looked down at herself, watching as her skin began to change, become a runny liquid.  “Noooo…”

“The magic is really amazing, Wonder Woman,” Egg Fu taunted as she continued to transform in front of him.  “Your body is becoming the inside of the egg, the egg white and the yolk, and your shiny, colorful costume will become the shell, the decoration, so to speak.”

“Noooo…” Curia moaned again, as her arms and legs seemed to defy the laws of gravity; as they became completely runny, they flowed into her torso instead of away from it. Her blue, star-spangled shorts were fusing into a solid shell-like material – the bottom half of the egg.  Her red bustier was becoming the top half; she let out one last gasp before her head turned into the yolk and slid inside the egg shell. Her tiara bounced once and then settled on top of the newly formed ‘Wonder Egg’.  Even her lasso had been affected; no longer wrapped around the villain, it now nestled at the side of the red, white, and blue egg, now nothing more than a gold-colored decoration.

Egg Fu closed the magical device and looked down at his newest creation.  Then he patted his large stomach.  “I have a sudden craving for an omelet,” he chortled.

lol Good answer. And I believe he left it at medium. Would've been insane if he turned it up to maximum since he's a jerk and all. ^.^

Love the story as is, but I'm a bit bothered with the eggs being "runny". Easter Eggs are hard boiled, which is not to say the concept of raw Easter Eggs has no place in an Easter story. Indeed, one of the many "Hop" scenarios I have envisioned has Carlos changing people, including Kaley Cuoco's character, into raw eggs that then hatch into Carlos' minions.

Outside of Easter, one of my more common fantasies is a woman, sometimes a heroine, being swallowed by a snake and transformed into an egg. This is the fantasy your story invoked, since I read it the same day Lynda Carter was on KLG and Hoda. This could involve the snake swallowing multiple people before the heroine(s) come along to meet there own fate(s).

More commonly, my fantasies have women absorbed by their breasts, then coated in nail polish to mold and hold them in the shape of eggs.

Thank you for all of that!! I guess I came up with the runny part on the fly as a way for her to end up inside her 'costume shell'. But I understand what you mean!!

I had never had any kind of egg fantasies or thoughts until I saw that pic and I just thought 'that would be a fun transformation to do'!!! That's it really :)

To me, the egg is in many ways the ultimate symbol of transformation, even more so than the cocoon.
